it is our wish for our hovawarts to live in
homes among people who consider a dog a
family member, friend and companion in all
life situations.
each dog requires time, affection and
attention, good training as well as sufficient
daily exercise and play.

do you have time and will you enjoy bringing
your dog home to become a member of your
family?
are you prepared to share your living quarters
with a dog?
do you enjoy daily exercise in the outdoors,
even in inclement weather? do you like to go
on long hikes?
do you spend your vacation in the mountains,
at the beach or in a little village in the
country?
can you accept that your puppy will chew your
new shoes, steal some freshly baked cake or
knock down your small child due to much
enthusiasm?

do you know that you must train your hovawart
not to chase bicycle riders/joggers, not to
hunt for wild animals and not to bark at your
guests? it is also not accepteble to let him
throw other dogs on their backs or to have a
wrestling match with two legged family
members.
you assume responsibility after the purchase.
